Sydney creative agency forms new China alliances

Sydney-based creative agency BWD has formed three new strategic alliances to support its expanding portfolio of Chinese marketing and communication services.

Over the past three years BWD has significantly grown the volume of cross-cultural communications its Australian clients produce for offshore Asian audiences.

“Driven by the creative talents of Design Director Chin Yee Lam, we’ve taken great pride in producing thoughtful, culturally sensitive brand communications for the likes of Bright Foods, eBay, Macquarie University, Deluxe, LEK and the Australian Meat Processing Corporation” says BWD General Manager Gethin Fisher.

With this trend continuing into 2017, the agency believes it should increase its services to augment its existing expertise, Mr Fisher says.

Having completed a review of possible partners and establishing a broad network of contacts on a recent trip to Shanghai, it has formed working relationships with Sinorbis, Pi Design and Blue Star Group.

Sinorbis is one of China’s leading digital agencies, providing a broad range of digital services including website design and development, social media marketing, online reputation management, search-engine optimisation and search-engine marketing for China.

Pi Design is a Shanghai-based design agency. Executive Creative Director Nathan Nee is a long-term BWD friend and collaborator.

Bluestar Print Group is one of Australia’s largest print management companies and a long-term supplier. It has recently added print, merchandise and logistics capabilities to service the China market.

Bluestar Group is Australia’s most diverse and innovative print and communications business and a long-term supplier. Blue Star has recently expanded their offer with capabilities now in Guangzhou, Shanghai and Singapore.

These new relationships and services fit with BWD’s purpose to build sustainable organisations by creatively communicating strategy. and will enable it to deliver a wide range of campaigns and creative services throughout China, Mr Fisher says.
